Maynilad Water Academy of Maynilad Water Services Inc. conducted an online training workshop on water supply operations for ADB staff last October 11-22, 2021. The seminar-workshop covered essential topics on water operations within the context of the Philippine setting.
The primary objective is to teach selected ADB staff about the practices in the water industry particularly the fundamental concepts and principles in water supply operations. This training enabled the participants to gain knowledge on the following topics: Water governance and tariff setting, water availability and quality, Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Management, addressing NRW, commercial operations/ customer service, wastewater management and support services, and Water Systems in the Philippines.
