Part of its education program is to build awareness about individuals working for a water treatment facility.
To teach the future generation of professionals and leaders, children were taught about water education and were given a chance to meet a Maynilad employee – this time, a civil engineer.
On January 31, 2024, Engr. Aubrey Landingan of Maynilad Water Source Operations participates in the “Meet a Civil Engineer” event at Mind at Work Progressive School Inc., attended by 45 kindergarten children. Engr. Landingan shares with children her role in ensuring clean and safe water for households, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of civil engineers with scientists and chemists.
The event featured a water treatment demonstration kit showing a simple and practical presentation about the science of water treatment processes.
The activity aims to impart water education, instill a sense of environmental stewardship, and promote responsible water use among young learners.
