A workshop on Water History, Sanitation, and Education for teachers was hosted by the Maynilad Water Academy and National Historical Commission of the Philippines-Museo El Deposito. The online workshop shared practical ideas to teach the importance and connection of water and sanitation to historical landmarks in the Philippines particularly the Museo El Deposito. Resource persons from Maynilad Water Academy shared digital copies of the teaching-learning package modules titled Water: Nature’s Precious Gift which was co-developed by Maynilad, UP-NISMEd, and FPSMER.
The virtual event was joined by teachers of Social Studies and Science from public and private schools within the concession area of Maynilad. The event was dubbed as H2Know: An online Webinar and Workshop in Water History ,Sanitation and Education held last 21-22 January 2021, 2:00 PM- 5:00 PM, via Zoom.
