Rotary District of 3850 hosted a ‘WASH SUMMIT: Access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene’ on March 12, 2022. The virtual event supports the month-long celebration of World Water Day.
Experts from the water sector discussed the future state of water in the Philippines, grants for collaborations, and the implementation of water-related projects. Engr. Rodora N. Gamboa, Maynilad Water Academy’s Executive Director joins the discussion and highlights the importance of advocacies on water, sanitation, and hygiene.
The panelists comprise Mr. Edwin G. To, District Governor of RID 3850, Mr. Ramon S. Alikpala, Chairman and CEO of FutureWater Asia, PP Clem Van Den Bersselaar, MPHF, Rotary Club of Ormoc Bay Philippines, and PP Fernando Ronas Camba, MPHF, Rotary Club of Zamboanga West. Attendees were Rotarians from Negros, Iloilo, Boracay, Zamboanga City, and other parts of Mindanao.
