University of Perpetual Help Dalta System joins the Faculty Learning Exchange on Water Education

The Maynilad Water Academy (MWA) hosted a knowledge-sharing event titled “Faculty Learning Exchange on Water Education” (FLExWater Ed) with the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) at the Maynilad La Mesa Treatment Plant and Water Lab last July 9, 2024. Attended by nine deans and directors from UPHSD, the one-day event focused on water and wastewater management fundamentals, providing participants with an overview of water treatment processes, sustainable resource management, and the latest industry innovations. This initiative is part of the academy’s ongoing efforts to promote water education, research opportunities, and career awareness in the water industry.

By engaging top academic leaders, the academy aims to integrate cutting-edge water management practices into its curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared to tackle water sustainability challenges. The event included interactive sessions and a tour of state-of-the-art facilities at the treatment plant, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and practical application.
