Maynilad Water Academy (MWA) and Manila Central University (MCU) solidified a groundbreaking partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Maynilad Head Office. MWA Executive Director Rodora N. Gamboa and MCU President Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr. formalized the agreement.
This strategic collaboration aims to strengthen the partnership between academe and industry by promoting water education initiatives, advancing water and sanitation research, and raising career awareness in the water sector. Through this partnership, MWA and MCU will develop knowledge and expertise to address water sustainability challenges in the Philippines.

The MOU signing was held last October 7, 2024, at the Maynilad Head Office in Quezon City. This underscores both institutions’ dedication to creating impactful solutions and nurturing talent to help shape a sustainable water and sanitation management future.
