Manila Japanese School Water Education Tour at La Mesa Treatment Plant

Last October 26, 2018 Maynilad Water Academy with a team from Marubeni Corp.  facilitated a Water  Education Tour (WET) for 70 students of Manila Japanese School.

The students were given a lecture on the importance of water.

The students learned about Maynilad’s water treatment and operations through a short lecture and tour in La Mesa Treatment Plant 1.

The tour aims to introduce the different aspects of water operations, including water source, water treatment, water distribution, and wastewater treatment to children.
