Maynilad Water Academy (MWA) opened its Junior Water Camp program to senior high school students from St. Paul College Pasig. Last January 8-10 and 21-23, 2019, 60 students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) track joined the program as part of their work immersion course.

The Junior Water Camp aims to promote awareness on basic water operations, develop appreciation and understanding of water, and encourage students to pursue a course relevant to the needs of the water industry. The program affirms the report by the Department of Labor and Employment (2020) that one of the key employment generators would come from power and utilities.  Hence, Junior Water Camp aims to attract students to be part of the next generation of professionals in the water industry.
