On 27 July 2026, fourteen educators and faculty members from Colegio de Muntinlupa participated in the Faculty Learning Exchange on Water Education (FLExWater) program, held in Poblacion and Cupang. The program was designed to promote participants’ understanding of water resource management, utility operations, and environmental sustainability through a blend of learning sessions and field-based experiences.
Through practical discussions and site visits, participants gained valuable insights into the management of water resources and the operational processes that support the delivery of essential water and wastewater services. The activity provided an opportunity for educators to observe industry practices firsthand and better understand the challenges and innovations shaping the water sector today.
A key focus of the program was the role of sustainable water management in building resilient communities and safeguarding water resources for future generations. By connecting academic perspectives with real-world applications, FLExWater enabled participants to acquire knowledge and experiences that can enrich classroom instruction, research initiatives, and community engagement programs.
Through the Faculty Learning Exchange on Water Education (FLExWater), Maynilad Water Academy continues to strengthen partnerships with academic institutions and support educators in advancing water literacy and sustainability education.
