Officers from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) participated in a comprehensive training program on Non-Revenue Water (NRW) reduction through the establishment of District Metered Areas (DMA).
Held from June 20 to 22, 2023, the training brought together 16 participants to tackle water loss and improve efficiency in water operations.
The training equips participants with essential knowledge and skills in establishing and effectively managing DMAs as a proven strategy to reduce NRW.
Participants received in-depth theoretical and practical insights into DMA establishment during the training program.
They learned about techniques for network zoning, metering, data collection, and analysis.
Additionally, the training emphasized the importance of stakeholder engagement and developing tailored strategies to maximize the impact of DMAs in each unique operational context.
