Maynilad Water Academy opened its doors to National Teachers College Senior High School students for its second run of the Junior Water Camp. Around 25 students from Science, Technology, Engineer and Math (STEM) class joined the program to learn about the water and wastewater system and the transformation of Maynilad.
By the end of the camp, the students came to learn about how the water being provided to our cities and communities goes through different stages in order to make sure that it safe and potable and how water utilities like Maynilad also provide different services like wastewater collection and treatment and other programs that spread awareness on water conservation.
The Junior Water Camp aims to encourage students to pursue careers involving water and inspire them to come up with solutions for water sustainability.
