National Teachers Water Camp with Philippine Science High School System

Maynilad Water Academy (MWA) had its first National Teachers Water Camp last October 15-17, 2018. 13 teachers from different campuses of Philippine Science High School System joined the program.

They toured different Maynilad facilities and were given an overview of the water operations in the West Zone of Metro Manila.

The National Teachers Water Camp aims to enable teachers to integrate topics on water into their curriculum and attract the next generation of professionals to pursue a career in the water industry.

The program included activities like hands on leak detection.

 

The teachers were asked to make a call to action wherein they presented how they can help promote water and sanitation education in their school area.
